If you believe that …
If you believe that there will be more dollars in the future than there are right now then you must know labor cost will go up.

So the costs to make 1 gram of silver will still exist at a higher cost in the future.

That is where the value comes from.

When you buy a round you are paying $1.50 for sales and production.

Do you thing it will always be $1.50? No gold’s production and sales costs are $35 at the lowest.

Also it was designed of poor people who just want 1 or 2 a month.

Sorry, didn’t …
Sorry, didn’t realize this was already addressed in the video response from jandres549.

Why would I buy 1 …
Why would I buy 1 gram of silver from you for $3 when I can get a Roosevelt silver dime (about 2.2 grams of silver) for just over $1? It’d be a nice novelty, maybe an impulse buy if I saw it in a store, but not something I’d invest in now.

Monarch Precious …
Monarch Precious Metals stole davincij15’s idea for minting and selling smaller units -1/10th ounce silver! If you buy 10 of these rounds from Monarch they will cost $37.80 for an OUNCE!!! It is currently only $15.39 an ounce on 06/07/2009. What a rip off, even buying gold 1 gram at a time won’t be double the price of gold for an ounce!

Boy are they small …
Boy are they small or what. Will be surprised when my first 1g gold bar comes in along with the two troy grain gold coins.

I have decided not …
I have decided not to do it because it’s not what I am good at.

I congratulate you …
I congratulate you on trying to figure out a way to introduce sound money back into circulation. Hopefully, this will lead to something good for you and others.

Thank man and they …
Thank man and they are 4.50 each with no buy back!!!

The idea of the 1 …
The idea of the 1 gram silver bar is a little late to the market…google COHEN MINT. They specialize in small denominations of all metals…really small!!

Thanks for your …
Thanks for your comment it helped.

i bought from them and didn’t have any trouble, but i don’t think i’ll sell through them. and i won’t recommend anyone do business with them. just my thoughts.

Some very good …
Some very good reasoning in this thread.

Commemorative coins …
Commemorative coins from the mint cost far more than silver eagles/maples yet people buy them. In order to get the price you are asking for, you got to take that route. The DESIGN of the bar thus has to be top notch.

Be careful of using the word ‘legal tender’. The govt will come after you as they did with the Liberty dollar.

Finally stop being apologetic about your ideas. Most of the people who say bad stuff are goblins who never had an original business idea in their life.

Interesting concept …
Interesting concept … I kinda agree with some of the negitive comments.
I think that your idea would work better with 1 gram of gold. One gram of silver is way to small an amount to be dealing with.
Example of small silver coinage
Seated Liberty 1853-1873
Firmness 0.9000
Total weight 2.49 grams

Educating people on existing silver coinage seems to be the way to go, theres a ton of it out there, its just under appreciated at the moment.

No. Read my …
No. Read my comments. Clearly I wouldnt. My point was if you are going to do it then at least give the people 3x more silver. 1/10 oz rather than 1 gram for the same price. I got a 1000 oz of silver and never paid more than 17 an oz at the highest Ive bought lol…forget 80/90 which is what this is.

So u gonna pay 80 …
So u gonna pay 80 dollar an ounce now? I got some to sell to you.

davinci sure trusts …
davinci sure trusts those bank notes above your silver.

Dude, u have to …
Dude, u have to understand that u buy a car to have it sit in your yard unable to drive until you need to sell it. That is the purpose of a car. Why people pay 10 times more than the melt value baffles me and davinci. Don’t get ripped off.

But for silver to have a store of value always pay retail prices and not melt prices. I agree with davinci on this one too, and I think we are comming closer to making a deal on my 100 oz bar for $3600.

That is just taking …
That is just taking disagreement over the one gram too far..you didnt deserve that.

exactly…I like …
exactly…I like the 1/10th oz better for a small unit of silver than a gram. I think that is more legit.

Heres a potential …
Heres a potential compromise…try a 1/10 oz silver round instead…this is nearly three times the silver content and while still high on price, 3x more silver is 3x more silver. I think that would go over better.

You are not going …
You are not going to tell me what to do. I realize that you did not screw Mike. Monarch is the one that used him. By the way make 1/10, 1/4, and 1/2 silver coin/bars first and offer them at a fair price if you want your venture to do well.

Of all the precious metals, the gold bullion bar is the most popular as an investment.
